What happens in the 45-minute consultation?

Our setup specialist calls or meets with you and walks you through your Square account step by step. You do all the clicking on your own device. We guide you through every screen: creating the account, loading your services, setting up tip prompts, configuring receipts, and getting your bank account connected. By the end of the call your Square account is fully configured and you know how to use it.

Do I need to buy hardware before the consultation?

No. During the consultation we tell you exactly which hardware fits your business and give you the direct link to order from Square.com. The Square Terminal ($299, no markup) ships to you in 2-5 days. You don't need anything for the consultation itself — just a phone or computer.

What is "Customer Marketing" exactly?

During your setup consultation we configure Square's built-in SMS opt-in and rewards program. Every customer who checks out is invited to join your rewards program and opt into texts — right on the payment screen. Once they opt in they're on your marketing list. Every month we write one targeted text message in your voice, you approve it, and we send it to your opted-in list through Square's SMS marketing tool. We also set up automatic Google review requests so every visit generates a potential new review. The SMS platform cost is included in your $299/month — no extra tools to pay for.

Can I add the monthly marketing service later?

Yes. You can start with just the consultation, build up your Square customer list for a few months, then add the marketing service whenever you're ready. Just text us. We'll set it up within 48 hours.

Is there a contract on the monthly service?

No contract, no minimum term, no cancellation fee. $299 per month, cancel whenever you want by texting us. We just ask for 30 days notice so we don't send a campaign after you've cancelled.

Will Square work for my type of business?

Square works for almost any local service business — auto shops, salons, barbershops, cafes, nail shops, boutiques, food trucks, fitness studios, and more.
